The 2017 Festival is inspired by one of the most famous sculptures of the Antiquities. “The Three Graces” is a late Hellenistic Period, approximately 2nd Century BC, sculpture in marble of the mythological three charities, daughters of Zeus –Euphrosyne, Aglaea and Thalia, who were said to represent beauty, charm and joy. The Charities presided over banquets and gatherings primarily to entertain and delight the guests of the gods.
